Durban, South Africa – The Durban International Convention Centre (ICC) is delighted to announce that it has been selected as the host venue for the 13th World Congress of the World Society for Pediatric Infectious Diseases (WSPID 2023). Scheduled to take place from 14th to 17th November 2023, the event will address the most important issues in infectious diseases that affect children and their families.

The World Society for Pediatric Infectious Diseases (WSPID) is a confederation of national and international Pediatric Infectious Diseases societies. The event is a prestigious global event that brings together renowned experts and professionals in the field of pediatric infectious diseases to share their knowledge, research findings, and experiences.

The Congress will provide a unique platform for investigating how childcare is affected by an ever-changing world. The event aims to highlight the latest developments in the field due to pandemics and post pandemic periods, politics, global warming and climate change.
