As a multi-purpose platform for local and international acts, the Durban ICC Arena is the city’s premier indoor entertainment venue. We offer a special concert package for events of between 3,000 and 6000 fans!

The Durban ICC Arena is uniquely practical, with Arena floor, loading bays and entrances all on one level, allowing for simple, cost effective setup logistics.

The venue was designed for Concerts and features four Media booths, medical suites, change rooms and an Operations Centre. The Arena foyer offers two levels and ample space for merchandising areas and public catering.

The Durban ICC Arena’s technical specifications are on a par with the best in the world, and include intelligent lighting, trussing, curtaining and sound system which can be hired in-house. The venue offers full technical capacity for live broadcasts as well as house lighting suitable for TV production filming.

A fully integrated safety system and four backup power generators ensure that the excitement of your event will be uninterrupted. The backup generators are capable of running the entire lighting and sound rig at the Durban ICC in case of power failure.

24 screens in the main foyer can be used for advertising, directional signage, live TV broadcast and live to screen feed from the main venue.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I bring my own food and drink to the venue if I am attending a concert?

In order to maintain our ISO 22000 certification for Food Safety, unfortunately no external Food and Beverages are permitted to be brought into the venue.The Durban ICC offers a full range of catering options for our concert-goers which are available before the show starts.

If I buy Food and Drink at the venue, can I take it into the show with me?

Yes, you will be permitted to take your food and drinks into the venue to enjoy during the show. We do ask that you decant you drinks into the plastic cups provided at the entrance to your seating block as no cans or glass bottles are permitted in the venue.

What is the Durban ICC’s policy on firearms or weapons?

No firearms or weapons of any kind are permitted in the venue. The Durban ICC provides internal security for all our patrons and security checks are conducted by the event organiser’s security company for all guests attending an event prior to entry.
