Durban ICC Arena
The Durban Arena is uniquely practical, with the Arena floor, loading bays and entrances all on one level, allowing for simple, cost-effective setup and logistics. The space can accommodate heights of up to 12 metres, and can also be divided into 6 smaller halls, or a full oval arena. The Durban ICC Arena has capacity for 6000 spectators, with fixed seating for up to 2627 including the retractable bleachers, or flat floor seating for approximately 6000 spectators depending on the configuration of the room.
Power sources are located every 6 metres along the Arena floor, consisting of 400amp, 63amp and 32amp and all using CAT 5 wiring enabling the use of almost any conceivable electronic equipment. Change room facilities for home and away teams are available, as are a multitude of options for ticket sales, conference registration, and merchandising or bar services. The entire Durban ICC is WiFi enabled, and the Arena features its own Operations Centre, 4 Media booths, Medical Room, 4 Green rooms and 50-seater VIP Suite, which have full connectivity.
State of the art sound and lighting systems can be adapted to accommodate any event requirements, making the venue ideal for anything from a concert to a cocktail party, and there are international standard facilities for the physically challenged. A fully integrated safety system and backup power sources ensure that the excitement of your event will be uninterrupted
