One of the most anticipated concerts of the year is heading to a spectacular new home. Tamia Live in Durban, taking place on Friday, 7 August 2026, will now be staged at the iconic Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium, setting the scene for an unforgettable night with one of R&B’s most beloved voices.
The change of venue comes as the Durban International Convention Centre (Durban ICC) prepares to host the 46th SADC Heads of State and Government Summit, one of the region’s most significant diplomatic gatherings. To accommodate this important international event while ensuring that concertgoers enjoy the world-class experience they have been eagerly awaiting, the event will be staged at Kingsmead.
Durban ICC Chief Executive Officer, Ms Lindiwe Rakharebe, said the venue change reflects the collaborative efforts of all stakeholders to ensure the success of both events. “The Durban ICC is honoured to host the forthcoming SADC Heads of State and Government Summit, an event of immense significance for our region. At the same time, we recognise the excitement surrounding Tamia’s return to Durban and have worked closely with the event organisers to ensure that fans will continue to enjoy an exceptional concert experience. Importantly, all tickets purchased for the Durban ICC performance remain fully valid for entry to the concert at Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium.
No ticket exchanges or additional payments are required.
