Welcome to the “Autumn” edition of the Sanibonani Newsletter!

It has been a busy start to the year and we have been blessed to host a number of international acts both in our venue and in the greater City of Durban.

In this edition of Sanibonani you can read about our latest financial performance and the immense socio-economic impact we were able to generate for the country over the last year. We are also celebrating our recent World Travel Award for “Africa’s Leading Meetings and Conference Centre”.

We are also looking forward to some exciting events coming up in the next few months. These include the annual Tourism INDABA in May, the SA Music Awards in June and the International AIDS Conference in July. Later in the year we look forward to hosting the International Hospital Federation and the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness General Assembly in October.

In this Autumn edition, you can also read about some of the amazing things to happen in the City over the past few months, including a Guinness World Record attempt and the results of the Mercer Quality of Living survey which revealed that Durban has the best quality of life in South Africa!

This edition also introduces our own “Dynamic Duo” of new Marketing and Sales Executives, Nokukhanya Mbonambi and Robyn Turner. We also highlight a new value-added service available to our guests and detail the eThekwini Municipality’s “Clean Up Master Plan for Durban.
