Durban ICC hosts glittering MTV Music Africa Awards

Hosted by Marlon Wayans and attended by the hottest celebrities from around the globe, the spotlight was on the Durban ICC as African music was celebrated to the fullest. With electric live performances by French Montana, Miguel, Khuli Chana, Trey Songz, Uhuru and Mafikizolo, this was the ultimate award show ticket this year.

Held in South Africa for the first time, the electrifying musical extravaganza was aired live across Africa on MTV Base and MTV and celebrated musicians who have made the most impact on African youth culture throughout the year.

The ceremony featured dazzling performances from African and International artists including collaborations between artists of different genres and cultures. Music icons such as Miguel, Trey Songs, French Montana, Mafikizolo entertained the crowds while the sweet sounding harmonies of Ladysmith Black Mambazo still resonate in the minds of the thousands of music lovers who witnessed the event. Celebrity guests Khloe Kardashian, Goldfish and Riaad Moosa were among the attendees at the glittering event.
