South Africa under no threat from Ebola Virus Disease

The South African Department of Health is closely monitoring the Ebola situation in West Africa and has assured all South Africans and visitors to the country that there is no need for concern.  No cases of the Ebola virus disease (EVD) have been reported in South Africa and all precautions have been taken to prevent the spread of the virus to this part of the continent.
