In a converted house, a retrospective, home away-from home environment has been created with red walls, parquet flooring and mismatched furniture. Despite serving them, Spice is not a curry house. Chef patron Linda Govender imparts subtle spicing with dishes like caraway-spiced tempura prawns or crispy duck with gooseberries and Amarula.
