Durban: Mission Possible, completed!

The Durban ICC, Durban KwaZulu-Natal Convention Bureau and partners have done it again! The Durban Mission possible team have travelled South Africa’s major cities of Pretoria, Johannesburg and Cape Town, and finally ended off with a gala Dinner in Durban met with over 250 clients! The team comprising of the Durban KwaZulu-Natal Convention Bureau, Trade and Investment KwaZulu-Natal, Ushaka Marine World, Tsogo Sun and Aqua MICE were on a mission to showcase the willingness of Durban to not only partner with its clients but actively drive economic growth.

The five day mission saw the team host various networking functions attended by senior guests representing key government organisations, academic and research institutions, corporates and professional conference organisers.

The annual roadshow, that is growing from strength to strength, brought the phrase “Tapping into untapped territory” to life, from their gear sourced by the Durban ICC based I-Cube Advertising to the execution of each high energy event! Awesome prizes to the City of Durban were further sponsored by Misty Blue, Tsogo Sun, Ushaka Marine World and AQUA MICE, further showcasing the warm heart of KwaZulu-Natal.

The drive saw various clients of the City identify opportunities to drive shared value with the province and express interest in working with the City in the future.
